ACPO Professional Standards Conference 2009

Raising Confidence Through Standards, the 10th ACPO Professional Standards Conference 2009, was a huge success when it was held at the Crowne Plaza, Nottingham on the 22, 23, 24th June 2009.

The event was informative and enjoyable, with a strong focus on the continued development and enhancement of public trust and confidence in the Police Service. Developments in Complaints, Misconduct, Vetting and Counter Corruption were discussed, through plenary sessions and a wide variety of fringe groups. Use of the 10,000 volts system was again a key feature of the event, allowing delegates to have a truly interactive experience, exchanging good practise with colleagues from across the country.
